South Korea: North Korea Missile Launch Coming

SEOUL - South Korea (ROK) estimates North Korea (North Korea) will conduct missile launches in the near future. North Korea missile launch as a venue for the show of force.

"According to our intelligence and the United States (U.S.) gathered, most likely North Korea will soon launch a missile," said South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-Se.

"They can do a launch any time from now," Yun added, as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (11/04/2013).

Current joint US-South Korean commandos kept an eye on the situation in North Korea. Both countries continue to increase the number of intelligence officers to monitor the movements of North Korean missiles.

North Korea is known to have medium-range missile named Musudan BM-25. The missile carried by a truck making it difficult to monitor his whereabouts.

"The threat from North Korea is very real. War on the Korean Peninsula could drag large countries such as the U.S., China, Russia and Japan, "said the leader of the research institute Chatham House Patricia Lewis.
